  • Tap-changer & voltage-control repairTap changers, regulators, controls, motor drives, troubleshooting
  • Emergency leak repairActive leaks at gaskets, bushings, gauges, valves, welds, and radiators; oil containment
  • Commissioning failure / energization issuesInspection and testing when a unit won’t energize
  • Emergency oil processingVacuum fill, dehydration, moisture problems, low dielectric strength, oil contamination
  • Post-shipment damage repairInspection and repair if a unit arrives damaged, dented, leaking, or with broken accessories
  • Flanged-throat / bus-duct modificationWelding and steel fabrication when flanges don’t match up
  • Transformer fault event / failureInspection, electrical and oil testing, damaged-part replacement, and a repair vs. catastrophic-failure recommendation

DIAGNOSTICS & QUICK-TURN

Know where you stand.

When you need eyes on a unit fast, a single test before a decision, or quick-turn repair work that doesn’t need a full project.

  • Minor leak repairSmall leaks at gaskets, gauges, valves, or accessories
  • Accessory troubleshootingGauges reading incorrectly, temperature indicators, alarms, monitoring devices
  • Oil sampling & basic diagnosticsSampling and lab analysis to flag moisture, contamination, or aging insulation. From $650 per test, plus mobilization.
  • Commissioning supportLower day-rate field assistance during energization of new units
  • Gasket replacementSingle-gasket or small gasket-set replacements without major teardown
  • Pressure & oil-level correctionsAdding nitrogen, topping off oil, restoring proper service condition
  • Emergency evaluation visitsUrgent on-site inspection and assessment at a lower rate than full dispatch
  • Simple electrical testingOne or two tests to support buying decisions on used equipment or assess minor damage

IN-HOUSE WELDING

One dispatch.
One team.

Most transformer service providers sub out welding, which means coordinating a separate vendor, splitting accountability, and waiting on schedules you don’t control. Our lead tech is welding-certified, so tank, radiator, throat, and accessory repairs happen on the same dispatch as the rest of the work.

Welding is typically expensive and time-critical. Keeping it in-house compresses lead time and gives you a single line of responsibility.

WHAT WE WELD IN THE FIELD

  • Leaking tank seams
  • Leaking radiators
  • Shipping damage
  • Damaged brackets or flanges
  • Cracked covers
  • Cable-box throat repair
  • Bus-duct repair
  • Forklift / rigging damage
  • Accessory damage
  • Custom steel fabrication
